Prints are done!
They are 1 color screen prints on speckletone cream french paper. Edition of 50.11" by 17" and signed/numbered.They were printed by Shout Out Loud Prints here in Columbus,Oh. Enjoy and go get one!

" Is it too late to reach for you, flower?"....Scott Kelly Poster
Just finished this poster for the Scott Kelly(of Neurosis) show at Ace of Cup's. I will post some pics of the prints when they come in! If you want one head out to the show or I will be posting some on my Etsy page here soon for order!
This was a fun one to design! It took me a bit longer then normal for I had a lot of ideas at first. After some sketching and debating I finally came away with what I wanted to do! A line from one of Scott Kelly's song always stuck with me and it was, " Is it too late to reach for you, flower?". So I took that lyric and came up with a image of what it meant to me. The art is the idea of not tending to things in one's life, and when that happens they die and fade away. So I tried to convey that through the drawing of things that have all died or gone bad.
I meant to take some pics of the pencils in process but forgot.
Vision's and sounds provided by the following = Cloud Nothings, Scott Kelly, Daniel Higgs, Wovenhand,Oxbow, Om and the Melvins!

Those Poor Bastards
I was recently asked to do a gig poster for a great band, Those Poor Bastards. Its was a super fun project because their music is so loaded with imagery and atmosphere! If you don't believe me go check them out for yourself, and enjoy! http://thosepoorbastards.com
I tried to once again take pics as I went along thru the process. This time I did the band name type by hand but the other details I just found a font for......what can I say other then time issues...
The final came out in a run of 40 once again done by the great folks at chopchop. I will have a few going up for sale on my etsy site (www.etsy.com/shop/pencilplan) starting Oct 25th for 15$ Get one while they last!

WHITE HILLS POSTER FOR NYC SHOW
If your in NYC come out for what is going to be a great show with White Hills and Sleep at Terminal 5.......also feel free to pick up one of my prints at the White Hills merch table....
